Bruno Humberto
Estudou e lecionou no mestrado de Performance Making, na Goldsmiths College, em Londres. Autor e encenador de The Camus Incident (performance site-specific finalista do Oxford Samuel Beckett Theatre Trust Award), o solo Holding Nothing, a peça no tecido urbano Land, A Morte da Audiência, Carbo, Peças, entre outros. Colaborou com as coreógrafas Charlotte Spencer, Yael Karavan, Vânia Rovisco, com os artistas Graeme Miller, Gustavo Ciríaco, Allard van Hoorn, entre outros. Trabalha neste momento em colaboração com o escritor e dramaturgo Rui de Almeida Paiva, com quem fez a peça de teatro imersivo O Sequestro (2018), A Vila (2019), A Interrupção (pausa para intervalos)(2020) e Peça para Intervalos (2021). Colabora na edição da revista de arte contemporânea Wrong Wrong e faz curadoria de performance, fotografia e instalação. A exposição Acts of Disappearance, premiada pelo Parallel award foi apresentada, entre outros, na edição 2019 do Photo London. Mais recentemente, com Franek Ammer, ele fez a curadoria da exposição THE HAPPY DEATH OF IMAGES (2022) no Fotofestiwal, Polónia. Humberto tem ainda um projeto de música experimental a solo e faz parte das bandas CATARATA e Orchestra Elastique.

He currently works in collaboration with the writer Rui de Almeida Paiva, with whom he made the immersive theater play The Kidnapping (2018), A Vila (2019), The Interruption (Pause for intermissions) (2020), Piece for Intervals (2021), among others. Collaborates in the edition of the contemporary art magazine Wrong Wrong and curates performance, photography and installation. The exhibition “Acts of Disappearance”, awarded by the Parallel award was presented, among others, in the 2019 edition of Photo London.
